CityHive Fellowship

Overview:
CityHive Fellowship is a 1-year paid leadership program for underrepresented youth in Metro Vancouver that’s grounded in an intersectional, indigenizing, and intergenerational framework. This Fellowship aims to demystify civic institutions and center relationship-building.

Description:
This fellowship is a 1-year paid civic leadership program for underrepresented youth in Metro Vancouver to professionally and personally develop in a way that’s grounded in an intersectional, indigenizing, and intergenerational framework. Selected participants will rotate between city institutions, an Indigenous-led organization, and a community organization.

They will gain core competencies in navigating fundamentally different social contexts, act as bridges between mainstream and marginal groups and encourage organizations to reflect on and build inclusivity through relationship.
