Alison Brierley is a communications and content creator. As an alumnus of SFU’s English and Langara College’s Film Arts program, she is passionate about combining language and compelling visuals to craft impactful stories. She was recently a quarter-finalist for Vancouver’s Crazy8s Film Festival and her writing has appeared in NUVO, BCLiving, BeatRoute Magazine, Shedoesthecity and SFU’s former student literary anthology. She’s a native of Metro Vancouver but has lived abroad in England and New Zealand and is excited to bring these international perspectives into the mix. Through her recent communications and creative work with the non-profit organization Spinal Cord Injury BC, Alison fully realized her responsibility to positively contribute to the community around her. She’s currently a member of SFU Continuing Studies marketing team and is eager to contribute these professional skills and her ideas to influence change with the 30Network.
