Kate is an urban enthusiast with an interest in the link between city design, transportation, and health. Currently she is a Masters student in the Faculty of Health Sciences at SFU. For her thesis, she is examining the health and transportation impacts of the Vancouver public bike share program (Mobi). She enjoys working with data and is motivated to answer research questions that are valuable to municipal decision makers and stakeholders. Outside of school, Kate enjoys being outdoors and being physically active. She is a proud Mobi member and is often biking around town. She is looking forward to working with the 30 Network to design innovative projects to increase civic engagement in the community.
