Meg Herod

I am a honey connoisseur (self-proclaimed) and urban planner interested in how we can use our public spaces, all the places between buildings, as locations for community building and creative placemaking. It’s my belief that these places need to be influenced and shaped by the people who they represent. My work currently focuses on park planning in particular new park projects, long-term strategies, neighbourhood plans and new local food projects. I love to go on bike trips, dragon boat on False Creek, cook delicious meals, sew and sample honey varieties.
