About

Stephanie Butler

Stephanie is a 20-something communications generalist living in downtown Vancouver. She works for the Real Estate Foundation of BC, a grantmaker that funds projects that support sustainable land use and real estate practices. Before moving to Vancouver, Stephanie worked in communications and advocacy for the Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association, and has also worked in community engagement, fundraising and alumni relations. Outside of the office, she volunteers with Ladies Learning Code, Yaletown House and the Vancouver Volunteer Corps.

As a downtown renter, Stephanie is keenly aware of the need for diverse housing options that support sustainable, affordable living. And, as human caretaker to two cats, she also knows how difficult it is to find pet-friendly rental housing.
