About

Thanushi Eagalle

Thanu has an eclectic background, including a Masters in Integrative Biology from UofG, and is currently completing a Masters in informal learning at UBC. She manages the Edible Garden Project of the North Shore Neighbourhood House, which addresses food security and sustainability on the North Shore. Thanu has found the field of urban agriculture and environmental education truly inspiring with the consistent, creative and passionate community that dedicate their time to non-profit projects. In her spare time she loves to explore the west coast, dabble in photography and grow heirloom vegetables in her garden – especially super hot peppers!
