Areeba Asif is a Bangladeshi immigrant settler in Vancouver who loves family recipes, community, writing and reading. She is the EDI and Indigenous Engagement lead for the Deans Office at UBC. She is passionate about the worlds and communities she inhabits and cares deeply for people that exist within those shared spaces. She has served on CHYA in 2025-2026 and is excited to shape youth-programming within one of the coolest spaces in town.
