Eli Neptune
Engagement & Consulting Assistant
Eli Neptune (he/him) is a communications and engagement professional living on the traditional and stolen territories of the the Katzie, Kwantlen and Semiahmoo First Nations. He holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and has worked on infrastructure projects across the Lower Mainland at every step of the development process. Recognizing the importance of informed decision-making, Eli uses his in-depth knowledge of public works to educate audiences and encourage their participation in public engagement initiatives. He brings a deep appreciation for sustainability, accessibility, and inclusion to his work.
Eli has supported a wide range of engagement projects throughout British Columbia centered on climate action, housing, transportation, and decolonization, including the Cariboo Road Recovery Projects, a program developing climate resilient infrastructure in BC's central interior, and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw’s (Squamish Nation's) s7ulh wa nexwniw̓éyalh (Our Ways of Education) initiative, which led to a successful vote for the Nation to reclaim jurisdiction over K-12 education. Eli is committed to providing meaningful opportunities for people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities to get involved in shaping their communities.
