Maya is an urban planning and sustainability professional who is passionate about making better places for people. She works on projects involving climate resilience within transportation and building systems, strategic planning and placemaking, and economic development. She is a Master of Community and Regional Planning graduate, and has a Bachelor of Geography (Environment and Sustainability), a Diploma of Civil Engineering Technology, and a Diploma of Arts and Social Sciences. She is a systems thinker that has a multi-disciplinary background in civil engineering technology, technical research, communications, and tourism. Maya is a CityHive programs alumnus, and is excited to actively support CityHive in meeting its strategic goals.
