Naiying Xue
Naiying Xue is a civic engagement and higher education professional with experience supporting youth, community, and stakeholder engagement initiatives across educational and municipal contexts. She has worked on public engagement and resident assembly projects, facilitated dialogue on civic topics including climate policy, and designed inclusive, student-centered educational programming.
Naiying has collaborated with Indigenous educators and subject matter experts on curriculum development, including Indigenous cultural safety programming at UBC, and has supported community storytelling and public learning through her volunteer work at the Chinese Canadian Museum. Her practice is grounded in creating psychologically safe spaces, amplifying underrepresented voices, and designing engagement processes that encourage reflection, dialogue, and action.
Naiying is passionate about mentorship, facilitation, and empowering young people to participate meaningfully in civic decision-making.
