Psalm Custodio
BIPOC Mentorship Program Coordinator
Psalm (she/her) holds a Bachelor of Architectural Science from BCIT, merging her technical background with her interests and ongoing efforts in on-the-ground community initiatives. She is most interested in how to serve underserved communities while understanding what it means to hold intersecting identities while shaping the built environment on stolen Indigenous territories.
She is an active member of Women in Architecture (WIA) Vancouver, serving on the programming committee to support initiatives that amplify voices of gender minorities and other underrepresented communities within the architecture and design industry. Having co-led events such as Women in Leadership and Decolonizing the Built Environment, she finds fulfillment in holding space for much-needed community dialogue in pursuit of more equitable cities for all.
Outside of work, you can catch Psalm drawing, visiting art galleries, volunteering, and having her much-needed nature walks
